Die Profitec S wurde als hochzuverlässiges Stromversorgungs- und Batterieladesystem entwickelt und ausgelegt. Die Hauptkomponenten des Gleichrichters sind Thyristoren, die als Leistungsstellglieder dienen, und ein Mikrocontroller-Steuergerät MCS. Die Profitec S verfügt über eine Selbstkühlung und ist in Ausführungen bis 1500 A erhältlich.

The Protect MIP Rack Mount 19 inch System has been designed for all industrial applications. The unit is build as a compact 19'' full plug-in module with 4U height and with the connection terminals accessible from the rear side of the shelf. It is a perfect solution for redundant systems in very limited space cabinet.

The Protect MIP is suitable for charging many types of batteries including: vented lead acid, valve regulated lead-acid (VRLA) or nickel-cadmium batteries. It can also be used as a direct power supply without batteries.
