Reliable LED Power

LED lighting has the potential to offer very high reliability, with lifetimes forecast to be 50,000 hours or more of continuous operation. In order to achieve this potential the LEDs must be properly managed both thermally and electrically, and in particular the power supply must offer reliability at least as good as the LEDs themselves. This White Paper examines the issues involved in achieving high reliability LED power.
