The solar combiner collects the current directly from the field and is the central point for metering the performance of the solar array. Data is conveyed to the central inverter (PV.250 or PV.500), detects any errors arising over time and enables the operator to control the PV MW power plant. The CAN-Bus enabled string current monitoring system PV.IcX keeps energy yields high in the long run.
- Combines 8, 12 or 16 PV generator strings
- Early fault detection by precisely measuring single string currents and system voltage at 100-ms and cabinet temperature in 1-s intervals
- CANopen DS-301 interface
- String fuses on the +ve pole or +/-ive pole
- DC overvoltage arrester controlled by polling the signaling contact
- Optional signal contact control of integrated DC load dis-connector
