Our Governance & Code of Conduct Policies

Since September 2018, AEG Power Solutions is a private company, the sole subsidiary of the holding company 3W Power S.A. Corporate Governance encompasses the whole company’s managing and monitoring process. The company is committed to maintaining the highest standards of governance and responsibility towards its shareholders, employees and all outside partners in the jurisdiction in which it operates.

AEG Power Solutions management has implemented the company’s policies and procedures based on the fundamental values of the company. Those are driving our working attitude: innovation, respect, accountability, reliability and ethical business behaviour. They apply to the activities of our employees and our group companies. This code of conduct sets forth the fundamental principles of behaviour according to these values.

Ethical behaviour is one of the five core values of AEG Power Solutions. The Code of Conduct sets out the principles, policies and practices that constitute ethical business behaviour, which every member of AEG Power Solutions is expected to respect.

Business Relationships

Employees should be aware of the risk of potential conflicts between the company’s best interests and the interests of themselves or someone close to them. They should never make any decisions that would be harmful to the company because of such a conflict of interest. Relationships with public officials are particularly sensitive. Employees must not violate laws involving public officials and ensure that all dealings between the company and government officials and agencies are appropriate. The company’s strict compliance with law policy also applies to agents, consultants and other third parties which may represent the company. Anti-trust laws and regulations prohibit any direct or indirect agreements, understanding, or communications with competitors regarding prices, markets, customers, and any other business conditions or policies.

Protecting Group Assets

All members of the AEG Power Solutions team are expected to protect the company’s material and immaterial assets. This involves protecting confidential information and retaining necessary documentation. Employees are expected to use company-supplied IT tools and resources for business purposes.

Likewise, employees are expected to protect the company’s reputation and brand. This includes respecting the rules for brand and logo usage and ensuring that communications and media relations are handled through the proper channels.

Work Rules, Relationships and Responsibilities

AEG Power Solutions’ workplace relations policy establishes guidelines for interactions with colleagues, interviewees, trainees, sales staff, or other third parties. The company insists upon professionalism and mutual respect in all such relationships. Harassment in any form is prohibited, as is discrimination of any kind based on race, gender, beliefs, sexual orientation, age or disability.

The company encourages all employees to report anything that may be a violation of law or company policy, through the hotline or other means. The policy which governs the implementation of this Hotline is designed to protect employees who express concern about potential retaliation.
