Main function: Sales
Sales is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities and day to day selling of the company’s products and services with the purpose to achieve maximum revenue profitability and market growth and sustainable customer satisfaction in line with the company’s strategy, objectives and values.

Purpose of the role:  To sell AEGPS products, services and solutions by acting as a primary business contact to customers and representing the customer needs and goals within the organization, building strong customer relationships in order to encourage new and repeat business opportunities and to achieve the company’s business objectives.

 Main Accountabilities:

  • To achieve the annual sales objectives as set for the assigned customers/markets by proactive selling of the company’s products and services to customers
  • Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and driving timely deliverables and revenue
  • Deliver the correct and complete information to the bid team to enable them to prepare quotes for customer orders, safeguarding the variable margin targets
  • Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.) to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
  • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Sales Director/Manager or Managing Director of any problems that may arise
  • Owns the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client
  • Ensures that all order documents are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable 
  • Drive awareness within the company and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the Sales Director /VP and/or other support
  • Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
  • Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client
  • Promote sales synergies across the organization in selling AEG PS products and services
  • Report forecast, orders and sales on monthly basis

Education, knowledge and working experience:

  • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering ideally
  • Solid commercial / sales experience within the relevant industry
  • Good knowledge of electronic products
  • Good knowledge of assigned markets and customers
  • Understanding of commercial / contract law
  • Computer Literacy
  • Fluent in English
