GENERAL INFORMATION 


Main function: Sales & Business Development

Business Development is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the company by identifying new markets, client segments, partnerships in positioning the company’s products, creating brand awareness and coordinating public relations efforts in order to drive and secure long-term business growth.

Reports to :  Global Sales VP

 

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES


 Main Accountabilities:

  • Own the partner list and maintain the partners database.
  • Map the existing performance and manage the list dynamically.
  • Ensure that all partners are covered with agreements
  • Identify the geographical/map coverage of our partners, develop and identify new markets and propose new partners.
  • Manage the optimisation of the AEG PS product portfolio. Manage brand awareness among the partners for the assigned markets in order to position the company
  • Be owner of the pricing policy and associated conditions and define the media to support the price list including interface with manufacturing/hub facilities.
  • Appoint new partners in selected areas and develop sales plan jointly
  • Define partner targets, support sales effort, coordinate with Product Mgmt function, service support and operations for customer satisfaction
  • Support partners in growing sales, define training plans, organize partner events.
  • Support Sales people in selected areas in driving local partners.
  • Monitor and report partner business orders, sales and competitive position to initiate corrective action
  • Manage the marketing support needed, material, web site, B2B.


 

CORE COMPETENCIES


Education, knowledge and working experience:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally completed with a MBA
  • 5+ years of relevant experience within similar roles in the power industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of particular power electronic products and its markets, sales driven
  • Good understanding of the business terms and conditions
  • Experience and good knowledge of marketing and sales strategies
  • Experience in communication and negotiation on top management level
  • Computer Literacy
  • Fluent in English
