Hammond Power Solutions Inc. (“HPS” or the “Company”) (TSX: HPS.A) today announced it has completed the acquisition of AEG Power Solutions (“AEGPS”) for approximately CAD $365 million, following receipt of all required regulatory approvals.

This project is part of a collaboration between DEUTZ Spain, Ariema and AEM (Alternativas Energéticas Murcia – Spain) to build a pilot plant in Zafra, Spain, which will produce green hydrogen as a renewable fuel.

 AEG Power Solutions Introduces New Highly Reliable Analog Controlled Switch Mode Module (SMPS). These high-performance analog SMPS, available in 2.1KW and 3.2KW, are designed to meet the demanding needs of industrial and nuclear applications. 

AEG Power Solutions has been selected to provide power supply solution for a 100 MW electrolysis plant in Germany. The plant will deliver around 9.000 tons of green hydrogen annually which will be used in steel production process.

AEG Power Solutions has been awarded to provide AC and DC UPS redundant systems to secure power supply for green hydrogen production and renewable energy storage platform at CrossWind’s Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm in the Netherlands.
