Zwanenburg, The Netherlands, September 11, 2023 – AEG Power Solutions (AEG PS), a global provider of power systems and solutions for all types of critical and sustainable applications, has signed a joint venture agreement with World Integrated Contracting Est. (WIS), incorporating as AEG Power Solutions Saudi Arabia L.L.C. to extend its local production capabilities and provide more local service for Saudi Aramco’s IKTVA (In-Kingdom Total Value Add) program.

As long-term partner of AEG Power Solutions, WIS has already proven its capabilities and good partnership during several projects in Saudi Arabia. The new company is located in Al Jubail and fully operational as employees already have shifted while still hiring new technicians and engineers is ongoing to ramp-up the operation.

The employees are trained and backed-up by AEG Power Solutions center of excellence in Warstein-Belecke (Germany). AEG PS Saudi Arabia will be providing comprehensive project execution from project management to local manufactured products up to the full-service life cycle in order to achieve IKTVA local content.

The IKTVA program of Saudi Aramco aims to grow a localized manufacturing sector, increase global competitiveness by supporting a diverse economic environment and drive future prosperity and was introduced in 2015. On-the-job training programs and hires of Saudi professionals will support AEG PS’ long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia and the region.
