,  Zwanenburg, Netherlands/Warstein, Germany

November 27, 2017, Zwanenburg, Netherlands/Warstein, Germany, AEG Power Solutions, a global supplier of power supply systems and solutions for critical infrastructures will present its newest technology range of modular UPS systems for data centers and IT-applications at Data Centre World in Frankfurt on November 28th and 29th at booth 570. Data & IT experts from AEG Power Solutions will demonstrate the latest developments in the field of uninterruptible and secure power supply.

“With the market launch of Protect Plus M400 in September 2017, we are expanding our range of modular UPS solutions. After the launch of Protect Plus M600 and our new stand-alone system, Protect Plus S500, at the beginning of this year, we can now provide our customers flexible and efficient state-of-the-art solutions between 10 and 4000-kVA”, explains Alessandro Nalbone, Product Manager Data & IT at AEG Power Solutions.

Modular UPS for flexible scalability

The Protect Plus M-Series features a flexible modular architecture, an advanced electronic design, an intelligent user interface and an energy management system. The "hot-swappable" modules have independent hardware including a LCD-display, a decentralized control system and can operate and coordinate with the other modules within the system. If the load to be protected increases or decreases, the power can be adjusted in small steps. The modular, transformer-less UPS achieves excellent efficiency values of 95% in double conversion operation. They achieve an output power factor of up to unity.

Protect Plus M400 has one of the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) factors in its class. The UPS system is available in 20 and 40 kVA versions, which can be accommodated in typical 19-inch racks or in a stand-alone solution including batteries. It consists of 10 kVA power modules and can be configured with 1/1,3/1 or 3/3 phase input/output at installation.

Protect Plus M600 comes in three versions: 180-, 300-, and 600-kVA. In parallel operation, up to 900-kVA can be achieved. Depending on the version, there is room in the cabinets for 6,10 or 20 of the 30 kVA power modules.

AEG Power Solutions is showcasing its modular range on stand 570 at Data Center World in Frankfurt, on November 28 and 29.
