Our company is considering fantastic opportunities to grow both organically and through acquisitions. We are looking for a Regional HR Manager Europe of our main factory in Warstein Belecke, Germany.

 

The Position

The role of Regional HR Manager Europe entails supervising the HR activities in Germany, France, and the UK, while leading the local HR teams in those regions and ensuring the implementation of HR initiatives in line with the HR VP's directives. This position calls for a dedicated HR enthusiast who is eager to provide comprehensive HR assistance to the organization.

The position is based in Belecke and requires you to be in our plant at least 3 days week.

 

Role Responsibilities 

  • Comprehensive advice and support for the European companies in all personnel and legal issues as well as any special situations that may arise (e.g. long-term illnesses, conflict situations, etc.)
  • Sparring partner for executives in all strategic, operational and (employment) law issues
  • Support in recruiting processes - from requirements planning to job advertisements to applicant selection and recruitment
  • Development of and advice on personnel development measures with a view to further training, talent promotion and succession planning
  • Creation and support of performance management tasks as well as the conception and control of compensation & benefits processes
  • Support of the legal environment including Europe-wide contract management and communication with the external lawyers on specialized topics
  • Disciplinary management of employees in the HR area

 

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Successful university degree in business administration, human resources, or law
  • Relevant professional experience of 4+ years as an HR manager/ HR business partner in an international environment, preferably with initial management experience
  • Extensive experience in all important HR functions and processes, including employment law issues, points of contact with other European legal systems would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills at different hierarchical levels in a multicultural environment
  • Independent, systematic, reliable and service- and solution-oriented way of working
  • Enjoying dealing with people and a high level of intercultural competence
  • Confident handling of common MS Office applications, experience in using a digital contract and approval system desirable
  • Business fluent German and English language skills required
