Job Description

• Structural design of parts and assemblies according to specifications, sketches and drafts
• Elaboration of drafts taking into account manufacturing technology, materials and standards
• Procurement and review of construction documents
• Performing calculations to dimension parts and assemblies
• Creation of production and customer documentation
• Implementation of the design results in parts lists in the ERP system
• Input and maintenance of technical parameters in databases
• Occasional participation in customer projects and optimization tasks
• Participation in customer projects and optimization measures

Requirements

• Successfully completed vocational training as a technician
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the design and development of complex components and assemblies
• Good understanding of manufacturing technologies, materials and technical standards
• Ideally knowledge of SolidEdge
• Experience in creating design documents and working with internal and external stakeholders would be an advantage
• Knowledge of ERP systems and databases desirable
• Interested in participating in continuous improvement projects such as post-order cost and price optimization
• Ability to work in a team, independence, structured work and high resilience
• Flexibility and willingness to work in other relevant areas
• Business fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
