Job Description

• Transport planning (truck/air freight/sea freight/express services)
• coordination of delivery
• Import and export customs clearance including preparation of freight/customs and accompanying documents
• Electronic application for certificates of origin and certifications at the IHK
• Responsibility for compliance with applicable export control regulations
• Independent order processing
• Collection and tracing of export certificates
• Contact person for all questions relating to import and export

Requirements

• 3-year commercial Vocational training, ideally as a clerk for forwarding and logistics services
• 1-year relevant additional training desirable
• Experience in shipping and customs clearance with international customers desirable
• Knowledge of customs and foreign trade law desirable
• teamwork and social skills
• Good English knowledge
• Good MS Office knowledge
• Safe handling of SAP in order and shipping processing
• Strong communication skills, confident demeanor and negotiating and organizational skills
• High degree of commitment, personal responsibility, customer orientation and a strong team spirit
